Adedamola Aminu is the Principal Partner of ‘AA Management Training & Consultancy Ltd’. Adedamola is a trainer and lecturer, School Governor, Trustee for charitable organizations. Adedamola’s career has spanned a period of over fifteen years during which he has worked for reputable organizations in the UK. He has also lectured in various institutions of learning such as Croydon College, Lambeth College, Saint Francis Xavier Sixth Form College and South Thames College to name a few. He has built an enviable reputation as a ‘champion of change’ in all the organisations he has worked with.
Adedamola’s expertise has been enjoyed by a wide range of private, public and voluntary organisations in the UK such as Banking and Finance, Charity Organisations, Local Government, National Health Service (NHS), and Fire Brigade staff where he has trained senior and middle management on how to get the best out of their employees
Adedamola holds BA Hons. (Bus. Studies) from London South Bank University, Diploma in Marketing from Chartered Institute of Marketing. MA Marketing (Greenwich University) Dip. System Analysis and Design from Ass. of Computer Professionals and Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE Cantab). He is a member of the Worshipful Company of Educators City of London. Also a freeman of city of London.
Adedamola wears many hats - he was a local government councillor in the UK, Former Chairman of Association of British-Nigerian Councillors and Mayors in the UK as well as the President of the Association of Nigerian Academics UK. He was former Deputy Cabinet member for Enterprise; Children and Young People (department responsible for education and Social services). He is also past Mayor of London Borough of Lambeth.
Adedolapo Adebiyi
PROFILE: ADEDOLAPO ADEBIYI
Adedolapo worked in Nigeria for United Bank for Africa, Lolu Forsythe & Partners, Eko International Bank, became self employed and set up her retail outfit before sojourning to the UK as a mature student.
She attended Middlesex University where she studied and acquired BA Hons. (Bus. Mgt) and MA Human Resource Management. She became professionally qualified as HR Practitioner with the Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) and is an Associate member. Over the past fifteen years, she has since worked in different fields in the U.K. e.g. Education, Retail, Health and Social Care and Human Resource Management.
She lectures, trains and consults in HR and Business Management. She lectured Human Resource Management and Business Management at both Diploma and Advanced Diploma Level for students undertaking Association of Business Executives (ABE) examinations, Institute of Administrative Management (IAM) and Association of Tourism and Hospitality Executives (ATHE). She is a member of Association of Nigerian Academics UK. She is a Partner of ‘AA Management Training & Consultancy Ltd.
Adedolapo also trains and assesses in Health and Social Care. At the moment she is the Registered Manager of Emerald Care Services (UK) Ltd.
Adedolapo’s many interests include politics and writing. She stood for election in 2014 as a Councillor in Child’s Hill Ward in Barnet Borough of London. She is also a published Author.
Akintokunbo Adejumo
PROFILE: Akintokunbo Adejumo
Akintokunbo Adejumo, is a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) UK, accredited and registered trainer. with over 20 years combined experience in the Food and Catering industries, as well as in Local Authority and Social Housing in the United Kingdom.
He facilitates and provides Consultancy and Learning and Development support for housing staff in the area of Anti-social Behaviour and Community Safety. He writes articles on various issues in journals, magazines, and internet.
Akin taught Food Hygiene and Safety courses on a part-time basis and has a Food Hygiene and Management Training company, ATA Libra Associates Limited, based in London.
Akin is the Country Representative of the Nigerian UK Housing Society/African Housing Professionals Association of Nigeria (AHPAN), who partnered with the University of Lagos, Nigeria to establish the first ever Centre of Excellence in Housing Studies in Nigeria and Africa, and at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi Ghana.
He started his Housing career with Local Authorities, including London Boroughs of Southwark and Lambeth and was a pioneer member of Lambeth’s Anti Nuisance Team, formed in 1998 following the advent of the Crime and Disorder Act, 1998 .
Akin established the first dedicated nuisance and ASB team for Sanctuary Housing Association, and wrote a Local Nuisance Procedure Manual for both office and estate based staff and was a key officer involved in the writing of the organisation’s Nuisance and ASB Policy and Procedure.
He also successfully introduced, launched, and implemented the Good Neighbour Declaration (GND) initiative, a scheme that has now been recognised as Best Practice toolkit by RaceActionNet and included in their publication – Alternative to Eviction for Perpetrators of Racial Harassment Toolkit (Housing Corporation and the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister. The GND is also published on The Together Academy website, and published in Social Landlord Crime & Nuisance Group’s Sept 2004 Newsletter. He also advised and helped other RSLs all over the country to set up similar schemes.
Akin also presented a paper, “Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour – A Preventative Initiative” at White Paper Conference’s “Delivering Effective and Workable Anti-Social Behaviour Orders” at The Landmark Hotel, London in July 2005. He has also presented papers to several Tenants groups and other RSLs across the country.
Akintokunbo is the Senior Consultant/Trainer of Affinity Libra Limited in Nigeria; offering training and consultation in the areas of Food Safety and Hygiene (accredited and approved by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health), Housing and General Management, Education Management (with his wife, who is an Education Development professional in the UK) and Environmental and Waste Management
